Semiconductor

Strengthen transformation where timing, capacity and visibility matter.

Semiconductor supply-chain transformation must connect business priorities, planning decisions, capacity constraints, product structures, operational data and technology execution across a demanding network.

01

Conditions that can weaken progress

  • Demand and allocation priorities are not consistently translated into executable decisions.
  • Foundry, supplier, assembly-and-test or internal capacity assumptions differ across teams and systems.
  • Yield, cycle-time, hold and work-in-process conditions are not visible or trusted soon enough.
  • Product structures, planning parameters or master data do not reflect the operating reality.
  • New-product introduction work is disconnected from supply, capacity, readiness or governance decisions.
  • Planners move work into spreadsheets because the formal planning environment no longer supports timely decisions.
  • Technology milestones advance while operational ownership and adoption remain uncertain.

How Saepius approaches the environment

Saepius begins with the transformation condition and intended business value. We examine how leadership, governance, execution, solution readiness and organizational capability work together—not only whether the technology is functioning.

03

Relevant areas of support

  • Transformation health and readiness diagnostics.
  • Program stabilization and recovery.
  • Supply-chain planning and execution coordination.
  • Capacity, inventory, demand and supply planning transformation support.
  • Requirements, integration, data and operational-readiness coordination.
  • SAP and Kinaxis delivery experience where relevant.
  • Capability, adoption, knowledge transfer and post-go-live continuity.

Responsible proof language

The conditions described on this page are representative industry scenarios, not claims about a specific Saepius engagement. Client names, outcomes and case studies will be published only when documented and authorized.

Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation: global semiconductor company

As Engagement Manager with a global systems integrator.

Situation

The company was replacing its legacy planning, data and ERP environment with Kinaxis RapidResponse in phases. During delivery, the key onshore architect resigned, functional designs repeatedly fell short of client expectations, and customer escalations mounted while several workstreams ran in parallel.

Role

Led delivery, replanning, and project governance for a cross-functional team of developers, project managers, and architects.

Outcome

  • Went live on budget despite losing a key resource mid-project.
  • Replanned the functional design specifications several times to close gaps with client expectations, without affecting the development schedule.
  • Backfilled the architect role and brought in an additional technical lead to relieve the capacity crunch.
  • Closed first-sprint system integration testing with no delays. 30 of 33 user stories were complete, and four core planning specifications were signed off.
  • Kept the team sustainable through parallel workstreams and escalations by rebalancing workload and bringing in support.
