Founder and Principal

25+ years in enterprise technology and transformation, including 15+ years leading SAP and Kinaxis supply-chain implementations.

Sami Khan founded Saepius to give supply-chain leaders what large transformations often lack: senior, hands-on delivery leadership that stays with the work until it holds.

Across 25+ years in enterprise technology, including 15+ years leading SAP and Kinaxis supply-chain implementations, Sami has led work across demand, supply and inventory planning, capacity, and S&OP, and previously served as an Engagement Manager with a global systems integrator. Sami's work spans program delivery, governance, risk management, agile execution, and operational readiness, with a focus on the semiconductor, automotive and utility industries.

Sami holds an MBA in Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification, and is based in Southern California.

Why Saepius exists

For more than fifteen years, I have been in the rooms where SAP and Kinaxis supply chain programs are planned, delivered, and sometimes rescued.

Again and again, I walked into programs that looked right on paper. Scope defined. Resources assigned. Timeline approved. Leadership aligned. And within weeks, the same cracks appeared. Requirements built around the old process instead of the future one. Decisions made in the meeting, then unmade in the hallway. Nobody able to say what "done" actually looked like.

I saw it across Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP IBP, S/4HANA, and the wider SAP landscape. Different technologies, same story.

The technology was never the problem. The problem was judgment, ownership, and alignment. And the warning signs almost always show up weeks before anyone says the word "delayed."

Saepius exists to catch those signs early, tell leaders the truth about where their program stands, and lead the work to get it back on track.

At least that has been my experience, shaped by years of being in these rooms.
